Default 04 STi and 04 WRX spring from Espelir, GT spring and ASD Spring. 02+ Also!!

Hi there all..

I would like to begin by letting you all know that world one now has two brand new multi-extention phone lines to serve all of your inquiries. Our new Retail line is 206.938.7975 and our new wholesale line is 206.938.7974 These new lines will make it quicker and easier to communicate with us. Please keep in mind that the second line is for wholesale inquiries only. Finally line 206.331.2004 which has been our number for quite some time, will be operational for a few more weeks before it is permanently shut off. To recap:

Retail 206.938.7975
Wholesale: 206.938.7974

Many of you are now familiar with the ESPELIR name since we brought you the Espelir Cat back video for the WRX/STi:

http://user937480.sf1000.registereds...lphastage2.avi

What you may not have known is that Espelir is also a premier suspension company in Japan that has enjoy sucess in the JGTCC for many years. Here is some info on espelir...

In accepting the challenge to develop superior suspension springs that meet governmental minimum ride height requirements while at the same time enhancing the need for road hugging good looks, ESPELIR proudly introduces LOW FORM.

LOW FORM continues the legacy of durability, refined road responsiveness, and superior technology that driving enthusiasts expect from the company that defines "Unrivaled Automotive Suspension Engineering."

Our advanced methods and experience with vehicle lowering enable us to keep a 90mm ground clearance. Our suspension give a comfortable and most importantly a stable ride.

Keep proper stroke during compression.
Less fatigue.
No loose spacing between the spring end and spring perch.
Our products utilize SAE9254 and new material SAE9254MHT (Vanadium mixed material) under strict quality control during all aspects of manufacturing - during heating of material, cooling, and winding to ensure proper stroke volume and spring lightness.

By combining high powered technology of manufacturing and real world testing on the street and track, we can produce the best suspension setting for each specific car make.

For surface coating methods, we use 3 steps of shot peening to ensure super durability of the spring. Of course, epoxy resin power coating is the finish of choice.

We have many of the 04 and 02+ ASD or active Super down spring in stock. Here are some images of this spring on an 04 STI...

The lowering on this spring is 35mm up front and 40mm in the rear. The ASD has a mild spring rate and is intended to ensure comfort and style with a good amount of increased performance.

20 sets in stock: 260.00 free shipping and the first 5 who order or contact us VIA email or phone will get a special intro price.

The GT spring is more performance oriented. It gives the car a more agressive stance by lowering the rear 40mm and the front only 30mm. The GT spring has a rate which is about 40% greater than the ASD. This spring is perfectly suited for track or auto cross on an STI or WRX.

Here is espelirs info on the GT spring:

To satisfy the performance driver that wants to extract the best performance out of his vehicle we have developed the ACTIVE GT. This spring empowers a higher spring rate than the ACTIVE SUPER DOWN and has a 30% higher grade stroke volume.

20 sets in stock: 260.00 free shipping and the first 5 who order or contact us VIA email or phone will get a special intro price.

Right now we are moving some insane suspension combos. Ask about combining your espelir springs with a perrin rear sway bar or end links and you will not be sorry.

These new springs will not last long and I have personally track tested them on an STI. I can tell you that the GT spring means business. Get your espelir springs from this shipment before they are gone and there is no more till JUN.

If you are a dealer and would like to sell Espelir springs contact us immediately on our wholesale line. We have fantasic wholesale pricing to offer on this hot new spring.

Thanks all!

Trev

You are correct, it is a 20mm drop. 4 and 2 look amazingly similar at 0 dark 30! Thanks for correcting that!

Please call or email if you have any questions!

do you guys know the f/r spring rates on the active gt? how do they compare to 04 sti pinks? i was really eyeing the pinks, but if these are stiffer and quality is better, than i would rather get a set of these springs.

Although I do not have access to the spring rates on the GT, I can tell from experience that the GT spring is definately a bit stiffer and more performance oriented then the STI pink spring. The drop on the STI pink is not as agressive and handling is substantially improved with the GT for this reason alone.

THe ASD spring is a far better comparison to the pink STI springs, however the GT spring is definately better suited towards track work or competitive driving.

20mm is 1.00
30mm is 1.18
35mm is 1.3 inches.
40mm 1.5 inches

The springs work great on a 2004 WRX, whether you go with the GT or the ASD.

THanks again for posting.

Sorry about the delay guys....

Just returned from LA and the primedia time attack event. I will do all that I can to answer all of your questions immediately.

The STI spring is our opionion is a better choice for the STI because the STI spring is a very mild upgrade. We feel that even the ASD spring is a larger upgrade in terms of drop, and performance. Not to mention they are about half the price. These springs are the new standard spring here at world one and are replacing the eibach prokit on our shelves. We would not use this spring as our staple, unless we were sure it was great.

STi these springs are not up on the website yet but will be by the end of the day. The nav on our site has a tad bit of a learning curve, but once you become familiar with it, its pretty easy. Feel free to contact us if you would like more info on it.

We agree the car looks great, however it is not owned by anyone at world one, the car belongs to a customer of mackin industries in the LA area. The car does have powdercoated stock BBS rims and yes, black on black looks great. This car has only two appearance mods and already it looks great.

Thanks all and please let us know if you have any more questions.

Cheers,

More than 30 set of ESPELIR springs left in the building and I am going to extend the promo pricing to 5 more people. These have a money back gaurantee whether you go with the ASD or the GT. Has any spring been offered by a vendor with a money back gaurantee, if you are looking for a spring for your STI or WRX, this is it!

04 Springs finally in and ready to go. Espelir is going to be the new name in Subaru Springs. BTW, these are now on the World One Site!!

Default Great service. Question on strut tops.

---edited my crap spelling----

Just ordered a set of the ASD springs for my STi, great price for a great product.

One question, are hardened strut tops recommmended or is it worth installing the springs without, and seeing what it feels like??

Thx.

Hardened strut tops are by no means required. They will of course add to your rigidity a bit, however in our opinion there are other ways to increase rigidity that are more effective. After installing the springs let us know what handling quality you would like to decrease or increase and we will do all that we can to steer you into a part that will help you accomplish your suspension goals.

Thanks again for the order and let me know if there is anything else that we can do for you. we will always do all that we can to take care of all of your needs.

Still some great promo pricing left.

Alex

Do you know the spring rates? And is your comparison to the "STi springs" a comparison to the 04 STi Pinks (257/217)?
