Default STI compass wiring guide

I just hardwired my radar detector today through the compass wiring and all the data I found searching was wrong. This is for a 04 STI

Blue=12V switched
Black=Ground
Green=Dimming function disable when you put the gearshift into Reverse

Everything I found said orange or green was 12V switched which was not the case. FYI...

Would that be green/black for dimming? In the schematics I see no pure green wire. And oddly enough I see no blue wire anywhere in the schematics. Well i guess it reinforces the point in using a meter when installing anything.

Actually you know what I never looked at the harness that is installed in the car, I just used the harness that comes FROM the mirror and plugs into the harness that is laid there from the factory. So you need to have this mirror for the above wiring guide to work. Thanks

Thanks for clarifying. I thought you meant the car harness wires.

I used the guide here for the install.
