Since I just came from a heavily modded WRX, I would be looking for everything you could do on a WRX for the Baja. I would like TBE, UP, DP, Pully, Turbo, Injectors, Fuel Pump, Fuel Rails, Intercooler (top or Front), Intake, Strut Bars (front), Sway Bars, End Links, Brakes, Clutch, Flywheel, ECUTEk!!....Eventually some kind of body kit (one to fit a front mount I/C)

Everything fast!! So far, there are a few parts out there, but nothing that realy catches my eye without me making my own stuff!

Adam

P.S. A new hood is the first thing that is realy needed! This stock hood has a small scoop for the I/C and it is very heavy!!

Yes I really want some JDM style tail lights, espically ones that seperate the trun signal from the break lights.

I plan on getting swaybars in the near future. But don't plan on doing mutch, if at all, to the engine. Just handeling improvements.

BTW, just about all the STI engine mods will work on the baja because they share the same engine (mostly).

This is true! But there are some things that will require a specific fit.

How about a rear window that opens or slides? (if we're not limiting to performance)

This bumper setup gets lots of looks! This is our 'company truck'.

I traded an F150 for the Baja. Soft bed covers for that FULL SIZE truck were $150-$300. Fiberglass bed covers were $250-$800, average being around $500.

Is there a reasonably priced fiberglass bed cover/tonneau out there for us? The Snug-Top is kind of retarded at around $1100.

Hmmm, maybe I'll make my own proto-type and mold. Just maybe once my garage is complete I could make 2-3 a week! At $500 each I could be rich, or well, better off Then as things got rolling I could do carbon fiber bed covers, and CF skidplates

just thinking out loud.

This is what I would look for myself:
I am satisfied with the ride quality for long trips and the crappy roads around here. In fact Id say im pleased with it. So i personally would not do anything suspension/chasis-wise that with the possible exception of a sway bar later on.

Intake path, perhaps open element filter if the MAF can be separated from the intake pipe.

exhaust-- downpipe, muffler, at least 3"

computer chip, preferably one dyno tuned, adjusted boost and air-fuels. Im reluctant on the MBCs, Ive heard mixed results because of tuning issues.

possibly also clutch and short throw shifter -- the shifts are a bit rubbery for my liking.

Id like a setup that is proven not to induce boost creep..thats not something I really want to be dealing with.

How much boost will the stock turbo support? I like most of the rallitek future enhancements list also.
