Default So whats the word on this MJM Turbo?

This was posted in this thread here - http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show...hreadid=534278 - by Sunrise City Rider. I personally know nothing about this turbo and I did a search for MJM and MJMTurbo and nothing came up, so I figured I'd post about it. Typically I'm kinda against strange frankensteins like this, but I'm curious about its potential and its flow capabilities. If I'm not mistaken, they're saying they have this compressor section:

bolted to a 16G turbine section?

One thing is for sure. The guy at MJM turbos is a guru. Checkout his website! I have spoken to him on the phone and many times via email.

hmm... bump

It seems like it would be really suited better for a 2.5L or other high displacement setup running around 18-22psi or so...

Sheese.. that place has more turbos than carter has pills. And that red thing. Is he hinting that it cast around 20k?

I know a guy just rebuilt his bulldozer including replacing the turbo and cylinder head work and the turbo was huge. And the whole job cost only 17k.

Heck, browse that guys site and see the turbo graveyard......

Must have missed this post.

I dont know of anyone running this turbo. Its a good price for a turbo thats compressor will support atleast 450whp. Will the exhaust side flow enough to efficently make 450whp??
