Unhappy Imported Boy Racer types

Yep I've seen the Boy Racer types here too. I went to see a friend at this Air Base about a 1 1/2 away. I wasn't even through the damn front gate and there one goes. He had his white 1990 style Integra with limo tint, Supra rear wing, 14in chrome rims, 4inch exhaust tip and some silly a$$ looking lime green racing stripe down it. It actually gave me the chills to see that thing. I tried to dismiss it but within an hour of being there I must have seen over a dozen more just like it. They had a wide variety of ugly. Why do they feel the need to buy a $500 car, add $2K in stereo, ugly rims and big wings? Then they turn the stereo up so loud that they feel the need to open their window. If its so loud you have to open a window then maybe its too loud? Have some damn respect for the people who have to put up with you. The most pointless cars go to the guy with the old Honda Civic with black paint that was fading in spots, 16in chrome rims, 4in exhaust, limo tint, strobe lights, clear corner lights, annoyingly loud stereo, 2+inch drop kit, gold trim (even though he has chrome rims), and a V shaped limo antenna on the back. This thing was so low he had to swerve around to avoid even the smallest pot holes. The best part was he put Type-R badges and VTEC stickers all over it and it was a 4dr. Another ugly car was the white Nissan GT-S that looked like a late 80's model. This thing was covered in stickers. That's all nothing else. Luckily I took a Japanese friend with me so I could have somebody to enjoy it with. Best laugh I've had in a while. It got even funnier when somebody in a Honda Accord 4dr older model pulls up next to me and revs the crap out of his car to race. First off he is out of his league and second I'm in the turning lane you dumb a$$. At least it was a funny trip.

Just remember, that stero can be "ugly" loud and "crystal clear" loud. I wouldn't want to have the first one installed in my car, but I am got damn proud to have the second one.

There was nothing nice about this stereo. All you could here was distorted bass, no mid range, the highs were way too high and the car sounded like it was rattling apart. The only thing professional about it was the salesman who sold him the cr@p.

Don't the older Civics in Japan have Vtec(including the 4 door)? I always thought most Hondas in Japan are equipped with it.

Man, from what I've seen of Japan's racing scene, its worse. Sure there are the ones that are just wild and insane and looks badass, but man uuughh... I've seen ALOT of janky stuff from them.

Gives me chills just thinking about it.

No the Civic from the early to mid 80's didn't have VTEC. The only cars that look fast in Aomori are actually fast to begin with. The others are fast but only spend the cash on the engine and tranny and not the outside. The Tokyo autoshow is usually good for a laugh. Especially since the riced up look is rare here.
