aftermarket cams ?

i really want to improve my top end, and one of the better bangs for the bucks is cams, seeing i already have underdrive, intake, and exhaust. . does any company make cams for the 2.2l L impreza ? do 2.5RS cams swap in ? should i go for the 2.5l head and cam swap ont my 2.2l block ?

i was looking around the cobb tuning website, and found a byunch of nice stuff, including the stage 3 kit, and it's componets, will these cams wrk on my engine ?

or should i just give up . . ..

2.5 cams won't work on a 2.2L... not sure you'll see enough improvement to make it worthwhile to swap heads.

Just drop in a ej22t for real improved top end!

Sure about that? Aren't the rocker arms and shafts identical on the Phase 2 SOHC engines? I read somewhere that the difference between the 2.2 and 2.5 was just in the lift and duration specs.

i dunno. .i just wanted soem nice cams, but i guess, theres no cams for me

We had quite a long thread about this issue a while back. I don't remember the title or I would pull it up for you. Unfortunately, I also do not remember what we concluded. The discussion covered both swapping in the EJ25 cams as well as the EJ25 heads. A little searching should bring it up...
