Default Forester S with 15" steelies

Hello,
I would like to know if I can fit 15" Subaru Steelies to a 2000 or 2001 Forester S Limited? Will the brakes clear the steel wheels?

Thanks!

The front brakes are shared between the S and the L (which comes with 15" steelies), so it shouldn't be a problem.

I can't see the rears being a problem either.

Not definitive, I know, but you should be fine.

Previous discussions here and elsewhere suggest the front brakes changed for the '03 models, and 15" wheels don't fit them. I ran the Subaru 15" alloys on our '99S with no problems, but, to my chagrin, they wouldn't fit on our new XT -- it was the front brakes that were the problem.

So you're probably OK. HPH

You're fine. Brakes got bigger in 2003.

Awesome thanks! I was afraid that the Forester S may have the bigger Outback brakes.
BTW, are there any other Forester specific forums?
