Nice, what year is it? It's a Plymouth Duster right? Seriously though, I love the rims, what are they?

93 Dodge Shadow ES...w/Mitsu designed V6.

The rims are TSW Alpine's (17x7 w/ 205/40-17)that I swapped from the Dodge. $34 for lugs and rings to do the swap. Given that the offset is +40 and they are heavy wheels they will most likely go back on the Dodge at some point. Still, I really like the way it looks and after the whiteline rear bar install I get no more rubbing (in the rear) during hard conering. Plus I have had people complement the car with the wheels. The weight on the Dodge won't matter as it will be the car stereo pig. Think 4 15's and no rear seating.

The exhaust is a rallispec N1. Seriously loud but it doesn't bother me. Actually is is relatively quiet at cruise; it gets loud druring engine braking and accelerating.

Angry

Bite your tongue..."chromed", he says...bah! . Never will "chrome" wheels grace any of my cars.

They are what TSW calls "silver" finish. I believe you can get them in chrome however, should your tastes run that way.

Resemblance to what? And why is it scary?

Hey, my Dodge served me well up to 120k miles before I let it sit for the RS; especially with little maintence (I'm much better about that now). It now needs "freshening" of the engine. But it was always a quick car with a relative ton of torque, easy to light the front wheels up (the RS is MUCH, MUCH faster though..suspension is MUCH better). I just wish I had taken care of it properly and that there were SOME kind of performce parts. I would have especially like to turbo it (boost friendly 8.5 to 1 comp ratio). Unfortnately it is an automatic (parents bought it for graduation..had to get to school somehow) and I have heard the Shadow auto's aren't that strong, so it will just get filled with stereo gear. I don't quite see the resemblance, though. You have more imagination than I do. Or better halculigoens (god, I know that's spelled wrong).
