Assuming you mean DRLs or daytime running lights, you must disconnect them if you get HIDs, by unplugging the control module by the glovebox. HIDs cannot be run as DRLs using the existing DRL system.
There are several threads in this forum on how to disconnect them, a quick search should turn them up.

Depends on how you hook up your HIDs.
If you connect them directly to the stock wiring for both positive and negative (not recommended), the DRL system will try to run the HIDs through a dropping resistor. This system is not designed to handle the high current the HIDs draw when first turned on so as a result the resistor may overheat and burn out, and you may see the HIDs flicker when in "DRL mode".
If you directly ground the HIDs (the proper way to connect them) and still use the factory headlight power, they will be on all the time because the DRL module keeps the headlights energized.
Disconnecting the main DRL module will avoid these issues.
