Default Cruise control?

The cruise control on my 02 WRX is not working. The light comes on on the dash, but the speed will not set. Is there a fuse or something that I can check?
I've only had the car a week, so I am trying to figure everything out.

Thanks
Jason

take it to the dealer if you have a warranty. there is a recall for the cruise control, actually. i know it is probably not related to your problem, but it might be. and yeah, it could be a fuse. the cruise control is fused.

Are you trying to activate cruise above 90mph? I had this prob when I first got mine. Cruise OK thru town @ 60, get out in the open and hit 3-figures, cruise won't work. Finally worked out that 90 is limit: you have to set cruise @ 85 then use accelerate function (push lever up) until you reach 90 and that's as far as you can go!
