Post Which one looks better? Impreza or EVO?

I know that this post only talks about Subaru but I just want to know which one do you think looks better? the up coming Impreza WRX or the Mitsubishi Evolution V? I'm asking you this because I'm not sure which one to get. Well, your probably thinking, " you can't get a Evo in the US". I know but if I want the Evo looks, I'll get a Mirage and put a Evo body kit on it.

Thanks,
Subies

The WRX. A mirage with an EVO kit would look nice but not as fast, and no AWD.

I personally think the EVO looks better than the impreza...espiecally better than the new version of impreza...but mirages are weak man...i would get a nicer perfoming car...

Although the current vertsion impreza...its a toss up in my opinion compared to an EVO...those are tight looking ccars, but yours would have to be a copy...which is kinda lame unless you are willing to do the whole engine swap bit

Hey, if you are looking to get a Mirage/ EVO my friend has one for sale (unless he sold it already). Its a EVO IV with a harness bar, wheels, carbon fiber interior, play station, tv, and I think he has a turbo for it but it isn't on the car. Let me know if you are interested. Oh, he lives in Washington.

I would say that the '00 Impreza is better than the current EVO. I think the WRX will mature into a much better looking car in the future if Mitsu stick with "traditional" square styling (like some would have preferred Subaru to do).

The WRX..

Both are beautiful.
the evo is just a little rough looking..
and a little over done, too busy looking.

If we're comparing the current models then I'd say the Evo6. We can't really compare the new WRX against the Evo since it just got a redesign and the Evo hasn't. On the other hand if you were to ask me which I like better the new Impreza or the RSK B4 I'd say the RSK B4. Really though to get a Mirage and add a Evo bodykit wouldn't be a good use of cash since it would still be a Mirage. Now if you were to upgrade the engine to the Lancer GSR engine with the 1.8L or even a 2L turbo and had to keep the FWD then it might be different.

Chris, you're talking about that nice, white Loyale wagon in the background right? Too bad that red thing got in the way of the photo, huh?

Of course Evo, Evo is "form follows functionĒ Every vents and curves on that car have its. I think what makes a car design successful is to achieve a good balance of "form follows function". A very good example of that is the Ferrari 360. Evo kind of go extreme to the function side but thatís what Japanese cars focus on and that is why I donít like Grand AM and other US build cars, oh and the new eclipse because they have overly bad form and no function.

A Mirage is not a EVO it may look like one if you put a kit on it but IS NOT a EVO even with a turbo kit......still not a EVO.
The WRX (when it gets here) is a real WRX even if it is detuned it is still a real wrx ej20, drive train, suspention, chassies and so on...all the real thing.
If you want a FAKE EVO buy a Mirage and slap on a kit.
If you want a real car buy the WRX.
As for looks I like them both EVO and the new WRX

youre kidding right?
the mirage with the evo kit will look better than the new WRX..(not better than the current WRX IMO) but you would still have a FWD 1.8L car with 110 hp or so stock..****ty interiors, ****ty drivetrain, weak ass suspension etc etc etc. With the money you would spend TRYING to get this car anywhere near the new WRX's performance specs..you would be spending ridiculous amounts of money.
