Smile FS: 2004 WRX Suspension, USDM STi Springs, GP Moto Elbow, Kartboy Longer Hangers

I recently swapped my 2004 WRX suspension out for some STi take-off struts and "pink" springs so I have OEM parts for sale. Full suspension ready to bolt in, good for older cars with higher mileage for people who don't want to go to the dealer for factory parts. Miles are about half highway, other half around town and to and from work. No offroading, I've done my best to avoid potholes, and in perfect condition.

2004 WRX struts/springs/tophats, 6k miles, $300 + shipping (SOLD)
2004 STi springs, ~4k miles, $100 + shipping

In addition I have some parts that I bought, installed, decided I didn't like or need and would like to get rid of to save space.

GP Moto silencer delete elbow, $30 + shipping (SOLD)
Kartboy longer exhaust hangers (black), $20 shipped (SOLD)

If you're local to the area I'd be willing to drive and meet to sell parts. If you'd like pictures shoot me an email at njw108@hotmail.com and I can get them to you too. Thanks!

Hockeyguy,
You're the man. Looking on the Kartboy page there is no designation for 02-03 or 04 cars and I can't think of a reason why they wouldn't fit. I won't be able to ship tomorrow, so don't paypal me money quite yet so everything is fair. For some reason I didn't get an email reply that people replied, so shoot me an email with your address, I'll get things wrapped up tomorrow night and ship out on Fri as long as businesses are open. Thanks guys!

They're coming like flies.....blackfly's I mean . Jimmy, got your PM, just like hockeyguy let me get things wrapped up tomorrow night and if places are open I'll ship on Fri and let you know what it ends up being. Till then I don't want to take money. If for some reason places around here aren't open Fri or Sat it'll definately go out Mon. Just want to be honest with you guys, this town is screwed up with the way it operates sometimes and I'd hate to take cash and have people get pissed that it takes two or so days to ship. I'll put you down as the taker for the elbow though. Thanks again guys! Whooo, beer money on the way .

OK guys, packed and taped up tonight, will go out tomorrow. I'll let you both (BlackFly and hockeyguy) know when they ship. You guys are goofy with the women . My new girlfriend doesn't understand the obsession, but understands that I like to spend money on my car like she likes ot spend money on clothes and doesn't give me lip.

Mexicanpizza.........sorry, but I have to give the first person dibs. I love Sunnyvale though, was out there for work last summer and had a chance to explore a lot of that area. Los Gatos was great, the brewery there had awesome beer and food. Stoddard's was cool too, I have a half gallon jug sitting in my kitchen from when I brought home beer .

Will let everyone know the haps tomorrow. Thanks!

Drav, here has been my standard response to people asking about the springs so far. To tell you the truth I haven't researched them too much because I only wanted the struts to go along with the "pink" springs, so more info is probably out there.

USDM spring rates are 188/173 lb/in. From what I can find it doesn't look like they changed springs from 02/03 to 04, those rates are 163/132. I had a hard time finding good evidence on what it'd do to lower the car, but I think the STi was 20mm or so lower than the standard suspension. Someone else wrote 1/4 drop or so versus a stock car. There were 19 threads when I searched "2004 spring rates" in the suspension section, maybe take a look through those and search some other stuff to get an idea if you're interested. My guess is that it'd lower it slightly in relation to a stock car and be a bit stiffer. My friend has a V7 swap into his car and those rates are stiffer than the USDMs and it's still nice on the street. The USDMs might be a nice compromise.

hockeyguy and BlackFly.......stop! I went through a dry spell with the womens and now that I've got one you're scaring me, hehe

Sure do! Only thing is that I'm in the process of moving out of state so my stuff is all over the place. Things will settle down a little this weekend into the middle of next week and then settle down again starting the 10th of May as I'll have moved into the new place by then. If it isn't a big rush (can't quite see what the future has in store during this move and don't want you to get pissed about me not being able to ship stuff out right off the bat), shoot me an email and we can try to work something out . njw108@hotmail.com. For some reason I haven't always recieved a notice that people respond to this thread so email is a sure bet. Thanks!
