Nice car, ah err, truck! Big puppy. Great Dane? Our Lab had issues getting into our old truck, he's a pro getting into the baja. He can even get in the back with the tail gate up.

Looks just like our Baja, except ours doesn't have the hood scooop.

Yea she is a great dane..Peanut is her name...only 9 months old! I hope she gets alot bigger.....
Hey I think that might be the biggest thing you can fit into the back of a Baja teehee!!!!! I almost bought a non turbo about a year ago I was going to get a yellow one. I was told about the probability of a turbo so I waited to see.....and Im glad I did!!!!!!!

If you can't fit a motorcycle in the back, bring a small horse! Even use him as a towtruck when needed.

The dog is only 9 mos old? You are going to need a bigger truck. LOL
I have a friend with a 4y/o Harlequin GD.
"Sherman" only rides in their full size van, because that's the only thing he can ride in. I have a 45lb Dingo that loves that back seat on long trips, but I don't think Peanut is going to get that option. Maybe, but it will be a tight squeeze. Love the color!

Actually I would never leave her in the back because she would fall out...she's not gracefull at all!!
I bring the bottom of the back seat up and I used a bungee cord and tied it to the passenger side head rest. And I put a huge body pillow down for her to sit on. It works great. She sits in the back and looks out the window like she is just sitting on the seat or she lays down and rests her head so she can see where we are going. With the bottom of the seat up it blocks her from trying to get up front..she thinks she is a Chihuahua!!! I'll put a pic up to show ya's... its a great way to keep the seats in good condition when the pups are traveling exp with the seat trim and the cupholders!

We have a new Aussie puppy, who will fit nicely into the rear seat/under rear seat area, even once fully grown.

I'm beginning to regret not waiting, but since I got my 03 5spd Baja for 18k brand new last summer, I don't feel like it was a total loss.

I will likely trade, at whatever point the last issue of the turbo model is available.

Thanks for the tip on folding the seat cushion up. I never would've thought of that...........

Default Great Pics!

It's been awhile sinceI visited the forum and just saw the pics of your turbo - great color. I loved the dog pics, too. I've got an 85lb yellow lab - Daisy - and she rides in the back seat of my Baja as well. I have a padded blanket that she sits on and she loves to look out the windows.

These cars sure make Pennsylvania roads easier to navigate in the winter.

Best of luck with the Turbo!!!!

Mark

And in the summer with our nasty roads. Hehe those pot holes don't look so bad anymore.

Default Isn't That The Truth!

My wife and I joke that the PA State motto should be "Welcome to Pennsylvania. Be Prepared To Stop!." The pothole repair season is now in full swing but with the Baja you can now feel confident to survive the side roads.

I took our yellow lab, Daisy, for a ride in the Baja yesterday. We are just moving back to NE PA and she went to meet her new Vet and get a check-up. She had a bout with cancer last fall but is doing superbly. She loves riding in the back seat of the Baja - Roadtrip!!
