will a WRX header fit?
i was wondering if a WRX header will fit a 02' 2.5RS engine. im talking as far as clearance and fitting up with the exhaust ports/bolts on the head. YES i know they wont fit up to the rest of the stock RS exaust piping because they are made for the turbo. im trying to find out if replacing stock stuff with WRX stuff is a way to build a turbo kit.

As far as I know it'll bolt up to the heads. But it'll interfere with the stock crossmember.

Theres a ton detail about this in the Aftermarket Forced Induction forum.
Basicall yes, they bolt up. BUT, you need a WRX crossmember for the uppipe and a WRX water pump because the stock one wont clear the WRX headers. |

i looked in the aftermarket FI forum.. i only see 7 threads total.... and they didnt have to do with wrx headers.. am i missing something?
anyway, thanks for the info about the crossmember and waterpump. |
