Default Tm Ic???

Where can i find a tm ic that fit on a 99 RS engine bay??? I know MRT ans Searco make IC but they are to big to fit betewen the TB and the firewhale!!!

Ditto on custom. Just buy a core and have someone bend you pipes. It'll be less headache then modifiying a US WRX one or a GC8 WRX one.

what do you mean? if you take a WRX one (or one designed for WRX) then cut the snout on the intercooler, then shave the snout on the throttle body, it will fit.

the real problem is the orientation of the intake manifold (i think). I believe the RS/L manifolds go farther back than the WRX one.

I am using a WRX intercooler on my GC. it is a tight fit, but it works. And more importantly it was cheap, so i didnt feel bad about cutting it

it depends what you want to do, drag racing, definately a front mount, auto-x or road racing have a top mount made. You can make USDM WRX TMIC's fit, but it's not incredibly effective. If you really don't want to have one made you can probably dig up a JDM GC STi intercooler and make it fit
