Thumbs up So who has tuned an Impreza wagon?

Thinking of doing this, tastefully, 'natch. Any 2.2l specialists out there, or anyone who ha done a rear drum-to-disc brake swap?

nice..
that's my dream car right there..

I've always like the look of the wagons.. and a WRX wagon would rock..

I'd lose the "utility" rails off the roof though.. clean it up a little..

but otherwise that car is perfect.

Nice wheels, are they black or blue? They look blue up in the up close picture. I love wagons! Ever since I saw that picture from Hyper Rev of the black WRX wagon with the silver Advan wheels like the ones this car has, I have been crazy about the wagons. Maybe I should look for a cheap OBS 5spd. with a ton of miles to do the same thing with? Hmmmmm....... muwahahahahaha (evil laugh).

I rode in a killer 2.2L turbo wagon JC Sports did! It was wicked, with water/air intercooler, two extra 480cc fuel injectors in the throttle body with FI controller, and boost controller for 7 psi low and 15 psi hi setting.

It was like, Wow!

OMG! That thing has an STi Engine, Brembo Brakes, Advan RGs (I think), and Syms/Prodrive bodywork!

Engine/Transmission/Wheels alone must've been over $12K Not to mention 800 bucks each for the bumpers, plus the brakes, plus the paint (I think it was black before, I remember seeing it a ways back) plus all the little things- That must be or close to a $40K impreza!

Oh my old engine. I sold to that guy with the base then crappy L wagon. In exchange he gave me a pair of oxens.

So purtty..... I think it was featured at Teagues a long time ago. In the mean time I shall putt along with my 2.2l puppy wagon.
Hmm....maybe if I play that GT2 soundtrack I can imagine I am driving a WRX.

Wagons...Yes! Definitely my dream car. It's perfect. (I know everyone said this already. ) I might spend $40K in a different way, but it might not be as cool or unique.
