Default (JDM FogLights) Somebody PLEASE clarify

ok, I bought jdm fog lights for my sti. I received the lights which are mounted on a plastic housing and the trim surrounds. In addition, I bought a relay, bolts and a switch.

A few people I talked to said I need a seperate metal bracket. The guy I bought them from said he has no idea what this metal bracket is. And he mounted them without this bracket.

please help

Thank You

you need that bracket - shoulda came with the fogs as a complete kit. I have the JDM fogs as well. And the guy who sold it to you is lying.

Hi Hank.

will667, I'll try to get a picture of the bracket when I get back to CA at the end of next week. I don't recall any part number on it, but I'll double check. Just e-mail me next weekend or so to remind me.

If it was a factory new kit, it should have come complete with the associated brackets. The kit I installed for a friend had a pair.

I bought them from a guy on ebay. They looked new. But for some reason they didn't come with the brackets or the switch and relay. This guy and I are trying to locate these brackets.

I checked out the part numbers that Dave gave me but those were not the right fog light brackets, have you had any luck?
