Default thoughts on mobil 1 0/40

just picked some up at walmart

since subaru recommend 5-30...this must be better right ?

no real consensus at bobistheoilguy...or atleast none that I could find

do you guys have any thoughts?

Just use the 5W-30, the 0W-40 isn't going to do anything for your car, especially is it is just a daily driver.

It should be at least as good, yes, although for spring in Ohio you don't really need the extreme high or low ends of its temperature range.

but at the same price as 5w30...it is better yes?

i dont drive many miles so itll be my summer oil probably as well (better thermal stability possibly ?)
