Post Macintosh Audio system on new Legacys???

Do the new Legacys come with the Macintosh audio system? I thought I read that somewhere but wasn't sure.

If so, does anyone know if the radio wiring harness is the same?

I know the whole stereo system was probably designed to work together but I wouldn't mind using the Macintosh head unit just for the D/A converters.

Anyone?

I know the VDC outbacks come with the Macintosh 11 speaker system. Sounds good but it needs a REAL subwoofer.

the McIntosh system sounds very good, and is only available in the higher Outback trim levels, not the Legacy line.

"- McIntosh stereo is good, but I hesitate to call it superb. Just about any aftermarket stereo setup with an amp an additional speakersr will be better. My own setup in my 5 speed OB (MD unit, tweeters, second amp, and 6x9s) does sound better
than the McIntosh."
