OK, I have asked about this before and never seen a good write up or info. Does anyone know if there is a good write-up for changing the fog lights on a MY04 to run while the parking lights are on and without the low beams on? If there is a post with pictures it would be spectacular, but just info on how to make it work and be fully functional is the biggest thing.
I've checked everywhere I can think of and can't find anything on here or on scoobymods to make this happen. Any help would be great. Thanks. ![]() Walt

ok....i seem to be a complete idiot. please excuse my idiocy.
![]() now, as far as this is concerned, just to make sure.... http://www.scoobymods.com/forums/sho...p?threadid=485 this mod will make the fog lights work with parking lights, low beams AND high beams, but the switch itself will still turn them on and off, correct? and the fog lights will not be on without the headlights on? or the switch is dead-wired to the car so that as long as the car is running, they will be on? thanks for the help... |

i'de be somewhat cautious using a diff/ wiring guide with a diff/ model year. shouldn't be too far off though. with the 02'-03' foglight mod, the foglights can be turned on while the parking lights(top of dash)/"parking lights"(1 click)/and headlights (2 clicks) are on.

I did this mod when I first got my WRX, no problems. I followed some directions that were in my sport compact magazine from 2002. Might could email them and see if both directions are the same.

Did anyone do this successfully yet?
I am going to attempt it myself and probe the relays to find out which is the turn on lead and wire up something myself. |

Please document what you did if you get it to work. Cause I am still searching for it. Thanks. |

OK, I did it tonight while installing my fog lights.
Very easy to do but... I powered it off my accessory on, so now my fogs go on with the key position. But... They go off with HighBeams. And also the switch light acts like it did before the mod. How-to soon. |
