Default wiring up the tein edfc

ok just wired it up to the clock....so that you dont have to chase down the wires like i did

Blue on the clock - constant power supply (yellow on edfc)
White on the clock - Illumination power supply (green on edfc)
Yellow on the clock - Accessory power supply (red on edfc)
Black on the clock - ground (not used on edfc)

I installed mine relatively quickly, there's not much too it...


What sucks is the P-1 P-2 and P-3 buttons do not hold their programming when you power the unit off. You have to set them each time you get in the car...

why not just leave the power on, mine is wired into the accessory (clock) harness and holds the memory fine, i only lose the settings when i disconnect the battery. The unit turns off with the key out, but keeps the memory just like the clock.

maybe that's why he installed his relatively quickly?

should be 4 wires - ground, switched power, constant power and illumination - all found on the factory clock wiring. Looks like you forgot to hookup the yellow wire to constant power.
