Post JC Sports Torque Chip?

On the page for R&E Performance Tuning if you click on 'Subaru Parts' on the left and then 'Subaru Performance Stages' on the right you'll come to their list of stages. In the Stage 3 kit there is a "JC Sports Torque Chip". Does anyone know what this is and what it does? I figured there were no "chip replacements" for the RS's like other cars since noone had ever mentioned anything about it.

(Please, no comments on JC... I just want to know about the chip)

It richens up the fuel mixture by modifying the MAS signal. Sort of like a non-adjustable S-AFC.

Ahhh... nice of them to mention it was an 98-99 only kit, LOL. But does this chip just plug in somewhere like other car's performance chips do or does it have to be hardwired in like the S-AFC?

its hard wired in and i would get the sfc from minnam or a safc instead because the tourqe chip adds 13% more fuel which isn't always the best you need the flexability of the sfc or safc

bill harvey - Yeah, that chip would be especially bad for me because I have a MY00 and last thing I need is more fuel.
