Jerry Springer, the Florida vote, SUV's, suing a restaurant for spilling coffee on yourself, and now THIS! I feel there is no hope for the human race.

That pick has already been discussed on THIS board. I'm expecting the "student driver" pic to show up next.

I'm convinced it's real. Check out how the front door is just a bit open to allow the piece of string to pass through, and the scrap marks leading up to the rear bumper on the asphalt. And the rear wheel doesn't look smaller to me, although it doesn look to have a bit of negative camber while the front seems to have some positive camber.

Have a Nice Day?

The sheer stupidity of some people never stops amazing me! I sometimes wish that we could ship people like this to a desolate island somewhere and forget about them.(just kidding but man...give me a break!)

Regarding the photo with the lumber, the text mentioned Waldorf and then Annapolis. Well, I know there is a Waldorf about 35 miles from Annapolis, Maryland. I have to go to Waldorf this weekend. I'll stop by the 84 Lumber as well as the IHOP to verify.

Considering the people at 84 Lumber aren't stupid, they would never overload a car unless the customer was willing to sign a waiver.

Hey, if people are willing to risk their lives as well as others to eat a bowl of cereal while driving in morning rush hour traffic, anything is possible.

Actually, the RS coupe would be much better at this stuff, as the rear wing would hold the load much more level!

Talking

I don’t know… I think the picture is real even if the story isn’t. If it was a PhotoShop job – kudos to the designer. If you look at the very subtle things like the shadows, reflections, etc. it is very convincing. Check out the reflection of the person taking the picture. (the wheels not being the same size is definitely an optical dilution – probably caused mostly by perspective. The photo isn’t from straight on.)

I think the far more perplexing question is how and why was it done… That was definitely loaded by a fork lift. How did the driver get the tines back out when the load was that uneven? How hard was he (and his co-workers) laughing when he got the signed waiver to crush a car? I think the windows haven’t broken yet because glass is incredibly strong under static load. Add the Dynamics of the first bump in the parking lot and they’d probably go all at once.
Secondly why… that fella (whoever owned the car) must have access to psycho-narcotics most of us could only dream about.

Snoopy – If you really end up going to the 84 Lumber in Waldorf I would love to hear the follow-up on this one. If this really ever happened I’m sure every employee has at least heard stories about it.

Exclamation

Well I've seen this picture about 100 times. I thought it was SO fake...but all these people in my office thought it was real. So I took advantage of the company's long distance and called home depot. Ask for Ronald in the Lumber department...he says it is REAL!!!!!
I still have a real hard time believing it, but according to Ronald this guy would not have it any other way, he HAND loaded this master piece. the cops were called and LET HIM GO. Ronald said the people were very drugged, on pain killers.
I still have a hard time believing it, but I guess I have to take ronald's word for it...
