Question removing AC????

I think a friend of mine missed a piece or two from what I've read about AC's on the net. Anyone know where EVERY part of the AC is and how to take it off (wires, diagrams, bolts and how much weight it should be TOTAL) thanks a lot... 14's next weekend !!!!

SCC did that to the SI a few months ago. I think they only saved 20 or so pounds. I don't think it would be worth it. You also need to have someone remove the refrigerant in the system.

I just weighed the cardboard box that has my air conditioning stuff in it (everything that is air conditioning related in the engine bay). It was 25 lbs.
