Question Going to UK - can I visit Prodrive or Scoobysport?

Hello all,

I'm new to the i-club and group (and not quite spot-on in memebership as I own a Forester). I'm an American traveling to London November 7-15 on vacation and was curious if either Prodrive or Scoobysport is open to visitors. I'd really like to see the WRC facility (not a spy for any competitors) and one of the best known scooby tuners in the UK.

If neither is open to the public, have you all any other suggestions for prime scooby viewing or hands-on? Seems to me that folks in the UK have a greater appreciation for the marque than we do in the US - maybe because we get all the tamest models (would love to test drive a Forester S Turbo).

Thanks in advance.

Any Subaru is welcome here! I believe Prodrive is open by appointment, and Scoobysport is a regular shop: the best thing to do is email or PM someone like Jay_UK or rsquire, as they are both from England and would know best.

Thanks for the reply. I'll do that. I'm also going over to the UK's ScoobyNet and posting the same message.

Hi there,

Prodrive arent excepting tours/people at the moment... so thats a no go..sorry

Especially with the Rally comming up.

Scoobysport is a small'ish shop.. which has just moved to new premises... they are always open to visitors.. and are friendly guys...

Pete Croney(Owner) can be out of the shop at times... might be best to check first...

Check the UK board and get yourself to Donnington...

If John Felstead or Harj are there then I'm sure you can get a ride in "da blue car"
