Well... they make the rear end predictable. When you throw it into a corner real hard with stock links, you get a rubberband effect and it all of a sudden snaps the rear end loose. With the solid links, they react immediately instead of delayed and they actually keep your rear end doing what it should with that size of sway bar.

You want better steering response, however, go with some front endlinks. They'll remove that delay you get when you jerk the wheel til when the car reacts.

Exclamation Whiteline rear end links

I got these installed over the weekend (along with the UD pulley, which I am very happy with) at Teague's meet.

I figure I'll give some driving impressions:

The car's rear end is much MUCH easier to throw around. For me, it worries me and I think I've actually driven even more conservatively because of it. The car feels like it's living on the edge.

As for the turning...ah, let me just say that it turns real fast real well. Shifting lanes and making "small" turns is so much smoother. Unfortunately I'm not sure if the tradeoff is worth it for a "daily driver" car.

As for ride quality, I don't think there is any noticable difference other than an adrenaline rush as you feel the rear end start to slip.

I will tighten the bolts tomorrow and give a report then. As it stands I am waffling on whether the links are good for me or not. They are fun. Very fun. And they do make one big improvement in the steering...for the auto/rallycross crowd this would be a great mod. Not sure for the rest of us.

At least it will be keeping me in check!
