Question my 2.2 L

hi every body
i have a 93 2.2L Legacy. i really like that car and the body style. i wana do alot to it, but for now im gona focus on the engine. does any one have any ideas of what i should do to it? does sti or anyone else make a 2.2 stage or phase 2 engine, that i could drop in. i want to end up with fast acceleration and a high topspeed.

Your options are limited...either a turbo kit or stuffing a 2.5 RS or Forester engine in there (and I don't think that's a bolt-in). There just aren't a lot of things available for this engine like other cars.

Umm I think the CAPA supercharger wil work since it was made for the 2.2L Legacy in Australia. You may want to check with them though. A turbo setup will allow the most options though and you can even start off in stages. Then upgrade later on when you have more cash and your getting used to the power output. You tend to get spoiled and start wanting more.

thansx fot the info, but i heard that the 2.5 is a weak engin and cant take much pressure. do u think a 2.5 would fit with a little modivation.
