I'm fairly new here, but I recall someone posting a fix (6-8 weeks ago)that involved removing the door panel and finding 2 or 3 bolts that make up part of the window lift mechanism were loose. Once tightened, no more clunks.

It means your window is improperly adjusted. Mine did the same thing, and the dealer fixed it in 10 minutes.

I had to bring my car to the dealer twice for them to confirm that the driver side window was growling going up and down, there is currently a window regulator on order for my scoob, for about 2&1/2 weeks, among other things.

i have a problem when the driver's window goes all the way down. it makes a clunking noise when it reaches the bottom. i don't think i can bring it back to the factory cause i had an aftermarket alarm in the car which did my door locks too. any clues what is wrong?

Question Driver's side window clunking

Sometimes when I'm raising the window, there is a loud "clunk". Anyone know how to fix this?
