Default Anyone run a P&P'd VF34 with the COBB VF34 base map & a TMI?

Wondering what to expect with the following mods to my 04WRX:

TXS TBE, uppipe, TMI v2., VF34 (P&P'd exhaust side & wastegate), injectors, fuel pump, catch can, knocklink.

Thanks,

Whit

It'll work, as im sure you know.

But you wont see the gains of the TMIC due to the boost level cobb's reflash is running. You will get less heatsoak then the stock IC though.

It should spool quicker/have less spiking with the P&P.

That being said, Id get a UTEC and a tune to get the most out of your mods. Or an Ecutek reflash if stand alone is not for you and you dont like playing with the car.

In other words it would have made more sense to do what you suggested, but, much of what I am spending money on doesn't "make sense" in the first place. It is not like I am saving to buy a house.

$3k ago I should have just gotten the STi.

In a $$ case then Id stick with the Stg. 2.5 Cobb map, using the OEM TMIC, and a plain ol` VF34

She's already P&P'd, but you really think I should put the OEM TMI back on?

IMO yea, since Cobb tuned the Stage 2.5 for it. When they come out with the Stg3 which requires the larger IC, and fuel mos then toss it on.

ESPECIALLY if you havent spent the $$ on the IC yet, see how you like the 2.5

BTW- Search for user 'blackie' he put a larger IC on, but dosent seem to know what to make of it

The TXS TMI is already on there...if I run it with the VF34 AccessECU base map then in a week I can send the Delta Dash data to Trey and he said he will come up with something that will be equal to or greater than an off-the-shelf map in quality. Then I will just have to wait until the Protuner software comes out to have it dynotuned somewhere on the Eastcoast.
