Post 60,000 mile service?

Hello...Does anyone know what the dealer checks/replaces during the 60,000 mile service? How much does it usually cost? Thanks in advance.

Call your local dealership and ask them how much $ and what is performed. They will tell you exactly.
It is recommended to change the timing belt also.
Check out the Subaru web page, it should have the recommended maint schedule for 60k miles.

I think 60K is the replacement interval on the timing belts.

My dealer quoted in the $500 range for the 60k service a couple of months ago. This was for a 98 LSedan in a small midwestern town...

yup, $500 sounds about right. they do EVERYTHING in the suggested service book. It's with the manual that came with the car. I follow that book, not the individual dealer's plans.
