Have a Nice Day? boost leak causing lag?

hey fellas

after installing my borla headers i've been experiencing noticable turbo lag (ludespeed stage 2)...i went under the car and tighten every nut and bolt from the heads to the uppipe...and everything seems to be tighten...there were no noticable carbon deposites anywhere...i'm not sure if it's boost leak or my BOV...sometimes the BOV doesn't even go off even if i give it WOT on first gear...i have a HKS SSQ by the way...in second gear it would go off a little chirp then a lot of flutter...i'm running a 4.5lbs spring by the way....should i check the wastegate area too?? this is killing me ....

thanks

hugh

You will experience more lag with the borlas than the stock y pipe but I'm not so sure that is your problem......check all your vacuum hoses. Maybe one came loose.

the only vacuum line i can think that is loose is the one i have just hanging from my cruise control module...but i've kind of capped it off where there is no leak....i'm thiking that my BOV could play some role in loosing boost....or my stage 2 intercooler running on stage one boost...4.5lbs..but only seeing about 3lbs...
