Tilton has become one of the most widely used clutches in racing. These clutches can be found in many of the most successful cars that compete in road racing, endurance racing, circle track racing and, most recently, import drag racing.
Tilton clutches are engineered and manufactured to offer the highest levels of quality, performance, reliability and life. They provide the best combination of lightweight, low Moment-of-Inertia (MOI), smooth engagement and durability. This assembly is designed as a direct bolt-in for Subaru WRX and STi. In addition to the clutch-flywheel-assembly, this package includes a hydraulic release bearing assembly that replaces the stock slave cylinder and related release bearing components. This provides near lighter than stock pedal pressure! The Organic CFA (Clutch Flywheel Assembly) offers low inertia for smooth, high-rpm shifting and quicker engine acceleration, good modulation characteristics and high torque capacity (550 lb-ft) to handle even the most highly modified WRX's. In addition, Tilton Organic clutches can be rebuilt at a fraction of the cost of a new clutch. We currently have in stock a Twin disk for a 550 ft/lb of torque Setup, available at no extra cost though is a set up for 800 ft/lb. these Clutchs WILL HOLD that kind of power and MORE. Tilton unlike other manufactures rates their clutches for the exact amount of torque a motor makes, not the average over the crank revolution. Tilton rates their clutches to sucessfully hold these number, they are not rated to the point at which they slip as other manufactures have rated theirs. $1795 list price on sale for $1675 SHIPPED if you have any questions regarding this product please don't hesitate to contact us. I'm waiting for some good feed back right now aswell. there are a few people who have purchased them but no one has replied with any good information. I have heard good things about their cerimetallic setup from road racers though
![]() We've also used the tripple carbon setups very extenisvly in supras. We had one on our race car for a full season and the clutch was still good, even with 1200 hp. the cool thing about this is when it does go. it only costs about 150 bucks to be rebuilt. versus 400+ for a new clutch which will only last 1/4 of the time.
