Exclamation Security Upgrade - Motion Sensors

I got the security package for my car when it came from the factory and I can't seem to set off my motion sensor. I adjusted it to low and to high, nothing. Err, I feel soo ripped. Any ideas? The motion sensor is under the steering column right? I hope so, because that's where I was changing the sensitivity.

Yeah the shock sensor has pretty "conservative" settings from the factory. If I slam my trunk with the security on, it MIGHT set off the warning chirp (OEM security has 2-stage shock sensor). I haven't messed with the sensitivity knob yet but I plan to. (I'm not even 100% positive I mounted it in the right place because the picture in the install manual doesn't match ANYTHING under the dash. But it's mounted solid so it should be fine.)

On that page I have scanned in the instructions for adjusting the sensor. Maybe it will help.

Cool

I always love driving through mall parking lots and turning up my stereo. all the motion sensors go off. It's a beautiful thing hearing a dozen car alarms going off at the same time. ahhhh. It's like music to my ears.
