Question 18" rota tarmac II's on wagon with tein s springs

I just purchased 18" rota tarmac II's with a 48 offset for my wagon which is lowered on tein springs. I was wondering if anyone had a similiar set up because I have to purchase tires still and I don't know if I should get 215/40/18 or 225/40/18 tires.

make sure to post pics of your setup. Im looking at something similar to that, but 18's are a little $$$ for me. Good luck with the tire choice.

i think that you may rub with 225 and possibly 215 but it would be safer to get the 215's
hope that helps

I would go with 215's to be safe. and post pics when you get them on the wagon.

yeah pics dood. that should look pretty sick. ive always liked the look of s-tech's and tarmac 2's

also with 48 offset and 225, there is a bit of luck involved with rubbing. seems like some people do and some dont. depends on the tire mostly. i know someone with 225 with 48 offset wheels and all he did was take that black rubber lining off the rear fender and it didnt rub any more. others have to get their fenders rolled, which isnt bad and pretty easy to get done. when you get into 50+ offset you start to see rubbing go away. i have 53 offset wheels lowered on prodrive springs with 225-45-17 tires and i get absolutely no rubbing. point of this all is that i think you should get 225 tires just cuz you'll have little bit more cushion to not bend rims (given the same aspect ratio) and its just wider, which is always more fun!

225/40/18 Kumho ECSTA Supras on 18x7.5" +48mm Speedline GT1's. No rubbing with Tein WGN coilovers and adjustable rear camber bolts.

Sorry all, I realized afterwords that I hadn't left much info.
With that said, my wagon is dropped on Whiteline springs, which take ot down about 2" total. I'm running 18" Rota Subzeros with 225/40/18 Kumho tires. Rear camber is about 1.5 degrees negative, and there is no rubbing whatsoever. I also removed the rubber strip that goes around the fender lip, which bought me a few mm's of space.

The car looks great with 18's.

offset is 48mm if I remember correctly.
