Post STi V5 suspension observations

Have 1 week under my belt, some impressions and questions:

The kit seems to have lowered the rear of the car more than the front. Is something afoul? I dont have before and after measurements, just rough eyeballing.

Anybody out there with this setup have a good profile shot of the car that I can compare mine with? if so , thanks. If I look at the top nut on the front struts there are six complete threads showing on each side.

Ride is stiffer, but by no means objectionable, even on the Michigan roads. yeah it's bumpy, but the increased performance is 100% worth it.

My current tires are insufficient (BFG Comp T/A V rated (215/50R16)) I will need to upgrade.

The Whiteline bar at 20mm seems to work very well with the setup. Maybe eventually I'll play around at the 22mm seting, but Im happy for now.

I know that the Prodrive suspension lowers the rear a little more than the front and it is normal - I'm not certain about the STi suspension. I'can't recall offhand, but 6 threads sounds right - you would know if you had it on wrong.

Glad to hear you like it - I have driven a car with that suspension and it is quite nice - a little stiffer than my suspension, but nice.

thanks for your input rao,

yes, I kind of figured if I had botched anything seriously it would not ride as amazingly as it does.

I've installed the STI V5 suspension in a couple of RS's and yes it does lower the rear by about 3/4" or so.
