To enter the realm of turbo'd power via n/a you would be spending more than the cost of a ej20t swap.

Cams, higher compression, injectors, fuel pump, engine management, intake, header, exhaust, head work, underdrive pulleys, on and on.

if you have the $$... just do a swap. for the record, without major engine work, i think 190 - 200hp is about the most. maaaybe...

you can get over 200 hp with a setup similar to the stage 3 cobb power package, but thats 4 grand plus install and cat/header coated if you want it, which already starts getting you in the range of an ej20 swap, or just throwing a turbo on your ej25, a full swap, or just a turbo kit with an sti shortblock and slightly built rs heads are the ways to make serious power, not staying NA

I was running a 14.10 in my RS (2.6L, 11:1 comp and 8K redline). But i found out I had the wrong cams in my car (the cobb spicy cams, not the more aggressive racer cams) which make power to 8,500 rpm. So it explains why my power dropped above 7k.

But Im putting the motor back in on the 1st of may and the car is also completely gutted too now, it wasnt before (no AC, cruise, interior etc). So im hoping for a nice new time when she is up and running!

It is $$ to do N/A, but its a lot of fun! If you arent obsessed like myself and you just want good power, do a swap or turbo you RS.

Start with the bolt ons, and if you want a good gain, cams and heads give you a good fun car.

On their page it says that you get a refund if you send them in within 30 days Good luck though! Sorry for getting a little bit off-topic, but how long did it take for you to get your cams once you ordered them?

Not more than a week or so to quebec, so it should be pretty quick to you.
