I have JIC FLTA2s from a WRX sedan that bolt up perfectly so I don't see why you would have any problems. I can't tell you what the drop is on the Tein setup but mine is close to 3 or 3-1/2 inches.

Tein make coilovers specific for the Forester. They are Wagon and Super Wagon. Have a look on www.tein.co.jp - they have specifications and pics of the setup.

I used the JIC tophats. (?) The fronts have a built in camber plate and the rear just slides in.

Will,
Thanks for the info.

Use Altavista Babelfish to translate: Altavista Babelfish.

I've also got a set of SF5 Tein Super Wagons and am not sure if they fit the SG5. I THINK the fronts top hats are the same, but the shape of the rear top hats have changed - but they still might fit? I'll let you know when i put them on.

Jeff,

That's a good question. The guy I bought them in April '03 so I believe they were for an '02 or '03. I'll ask him and let you know.

The JICs I have are from an '02 WRX.
Quote:
The '02-'03 use the same struts as the 04 but the '04 uses different rear top hats. That only applies to the rubber mounts though. They are offset differently where the upper spring perch is.
From the previous owner.

Oh, I was wrong about the drop... it's 4.5 inches from stock.
