Default options for fuel pumps for RS

Still battling with my lean condition on my 99rst. It does it in first gear and from take off (idle to about 2000rpm). I am probably going to take my car to Dan at godspeed for him to look at it.

Is there any options other than the walbro fuel pumps out there?

Can anyone comfirm if the walbro gss342lph will fit my car?

I have done the svx fuel pressure mod because of the walbro fuel pump in my car currently, because of the high output.

Does anyone know if when I replace the fuel pump if this will drop my fuel pressure below the factory specs (because of the fpr mod)?

Thanks a bunch
chris

It sounds like you are having more of regulator issue than a pump issue. If your pump weren't up to the task you would see your car lean out towards redline, you are seeing the opposite.

Do you have a fuel pressure gauge installed?

Just for reference, I have an MKIV Supra TT pump, and the SVX FPR: Idle pressure is at 30psi, and at boost its steady at 43psi.

yes I do have a fuel pressure gauge installed under the hood. at idle I am around 30psi and at atmosphere I am at 42ish (pulling the vaccum line off the fuel presure regulator). At boost it climbs around the fifties.

The reason I am thinking of replacing the pump is because I was sitting in my garage with the car running (garage door was open!) and the instead of a steady hum from the fuel pump it was buzzing from high to low and back to high and the 02 gauge was wondering from lean to stoch. (hows that for a run on sentence).

So yes the gss342 walbro will fit??

thanks
chris
