Default Turbo Kits for a GC8

my buddy just got a 2000 2.5rs and he looking to get a turbo kit soon. but he doesn't know what kind or anything. soo if anyone can post name, some prices, and maybe some pics of good turbo kits for a GC8 that would be great.

He wants the twin turbo kit but he doesn't know if that would be good on a 4 cyclinder engine.

Thanks
Robin

If you are looking to turbo a 2.5RS or GC8 You should go to www.forcedairtech.com they have 3 different stages of single turbo kits and also a twin turbo setup but that can only be installed by them in Arizona. I currently have the stage 3 kit on my car and it has been alot of work trying to get it to perform correctly. I know that www.spomotorsports.com has a kit that looks alright. As far as price is concerned expect to pay between $3000- $5000. Let me know if you have any other questions regarding turbos on a GC8.

The Twin Turbo kit, as it was, was not a viable solution to forced induction. Stick with a stage 2 or 3 kit.

And as always, FAQ and Threads of Note- Read me first!

Robin,

If I had to do it all over again I'd go for an AVO or FAT kit. If your buddy needs any help or has any questions you know where to reach me I'd be more than happy to go over everything with him.
