Question ignition coil

So... my subaru dealer says I need a new coil. I'm thinking I'll agree with them. Where's a good place to get one and how much SHOULD they cost. I know how much they want for a factory one, but I'd like to know who else would carry them. What about MSD? Is that something I should consider? Help guys (and gals)??

get the part number from the dealer go to https://www.1stsubaruparts.com check how much it should be and see if your dealer will give it to you for that plus shipping and customs and blah blah...

A small story
I drove through customs with a bumper skin on my roof... they asked me what it was and I said i just damaged my bumper driving on my way down to the states and bought one in a town... she aks how much i bought it for and I said 50 bucks and she said that was expensive hahaha...

Thx...

I found the part there for 120.43 US. Dealer quoted me 320.87.

SOOOOOO... I'm thinking I may just order the part myself... the part itself comes to 162.80CAD then shipping and customs... it'll still be cheaper I'm sure.

i think those dealers prices depend on the amount that dealer can sell or buy. Because I have heard some smaller dealers make zero money off parts....

That's the same price both Edmonton dealers have told me... i've been putting it off for too long... I was told I needed it a couple months ago... same price then... same price now.

I may have an extra, Gimme a day or so to find it. PM me to remind me. I thought mine was bad but it wsa fine. So I know I have two. I just don't know where it is.

BTW, when you change your coil pack you should also do your wires, they break down soon after the coil pack goes. Did one today.
