Post bigger piston for EJ20 or EJ22.

Hello Guys:

As you know here in my place we got the EJ20 non turbo engines, actually some have been supercharged and turbocharged with 2.5 kits, this engine are EJ20 with SOHC, as 2.5 rs from 99, I`m trying to figure out if I can add some bigger piston to my block, maybe 2.2 or form 2.5, my spec. are bore 92 and stroke 75 (in mm), I got an engine completed disamble and I I saw that I have to much material as cylinders skirts, maybe if one of you tell me about 2.5 or 2.2 pistons (bore and stroke) I will know with what I can play, maybe rods and crank are the same, of course I will have to take care of compresion, but math don`t lie, and we can modify pistons structure in order to get the desired compresion... anyone knows if this is possible, for example in US cases, have you seen 2.2 ls imprezas overbored and 2.5 injectors added, without changeing crank or rods?, if 2.2 and 2.5 conserve the same block have you been told that EJ20 turbo blocks are the same, I mean in space?
