Default Would you like to be able to plan your dream?

What if we could load a dream into our heads before we goto bed? Not that it's possible, but would you be interested? For example, let's say you see a hot girl during the day, then before bed you load in "meet her at a car show, followed by some flirting, and end it with some indasp00per". You could load ANY dream too. Anything.

Or, do you want your dreams to be random like they are now? Sure, certain things you do and see during the day usually pop up in your dreams that night or the next, but we have no controll over it. Also, some people have the same dream. Loading a dream could end those, and nightmares too.

Discuss.

It depends on the process I guess. If it requires implanting a chip into my head, I'm out. ...That and I'm sure I'd be spending a fortune on new bed sheets.

Sometimes if I am thinking about something hard enough before I fall asleep, I dream about it. This morning I kept getting woke up but when I fell back asleep the same dream continued.

I prefer random dreams the most because really weird **** happens in them, like getting shot with arrows, bit by snakes, and rolling around inside huge tires. I have alot of dreams about my parents yelling at me too but those ones suck.

You know what an interesting application might be though, if they ever actually created the technology... As sick as it may sound, I wonder if something like that would help with rapists/pedophiles? If creating their fantasies through dreams would help prevent them from actually acting out on them? Or maybe it would just fuel the fire...but it's in interesting thought.

We have the technology to deal with pedophiles already.

Most of my dreams feature a scene, something I said, or someone fom earlier in the day. But never the person I want!! Then the dream shifts to some awkward twisted version of something I did in my past.

Now if we could RECORD our dreams, that'd be the best.

Agreed, any blunt object is technological enough, but I'm talking more in the idea of "preventative maintainence."

I like the randomness, but I can usually steer my dreams the way I want...like right now I just had one about a hot girl in one of my classes...that was nice.
