Here you go:
http://catalog.com/susq/other/headlamp.htm Just leave your old crap (and I do mean crap) in there and run all new quality wiring. Use the recommended wire gauge and quality H4 & H3 connectors and relays. It isn't very hard (even though I haven't gotten around to it yet). Just use zip ties or plastic wire conduit to keep everything looking clean. Don't spend $500 to put the same crappy wiring harness back in your car. Tony |

Rewiring the headlights may not be as easy as you think. I was going to do mine when I rewired my fogs and installed driving lights, but when I started to trace wires I found that the daytime running lights were sending voltage to both the high beam and the low beams at the same time. I didn't feel like wracking my brain any further to find a solution to this, but it does prevent you from simply wiring in relays.

It's the main body harness of the car; runs through the right side front clip, and powers the all the lights, turn signals, markers, and I believe the engine fans as well... had mine replaced from the accident. It is a $500 part I'm afraid. You can chop new wires in there, but I wouldn't do it.

I have been planning on making a new harness for my headlamps... My plan is the go to the junkyard and get some h4 connectors from another impreza to get the weather sealing rubber bit for the plug. Make a new harness that connects directly to the battery so you get full power using 8 gague wire and some relays. And have the stock harness control the new wiring so that it's completely reversable. Where did you burn your harness? Close to the lights?
