Cobb Stage 3 head

did anyone order Cobb Stage 3 head from cobb? I orderd one from them for 6-7month ago but i still didn't get it. it very anoying haveing to call them all the time and still didnt/never get a straight answer from them they just said "it going to take 4-8 weeks" for the past 6month

did anyone have the same problem? what should i do? i'm getting piss off now

Wow 6 months, I don't think I would shell that kind of money out and expect a 6 month turn around, I would ask for some kind of money back. How do you like your TEC3 by the way? I'm looking for good stand alones and asking for reviews.

yeah, I definitely wouldn't be giving my money to a vendor like that, pull out your money and take it to a shop that can accomidate you.

I would have to agree. Tell them that you would like your money back immediately, and check out some other options.

FWIW, Cobb rarely charges your credit card (if that's how you paid) until the part actually ships. They're slow and overpriced, but honest in my experience.

that doesn't sound very honest to me. We all know some shops get backed up and extremely busy at times.... but they should at least let the customer know, instead of just putting them off for another month.

Something tells me this is an exaggeration. I have been waiting for stage II heads for 6 months. I was told 3-4 months when I ordered. But they had some internal issues that delayed ALL of their heads. Not only have they been overwhelmed with the Accessport, the NA headers and the WRX DP, but they actaully lost {STOLEN} a bunch of their cores and had to source new cores and train new guys to make them. Furthermore, they are in the process of inplimenting CNC tooling to speed their headwork. They were very up front with me about it and never gave me any sort of run around. I am not 100% happy about the delay, but Cobb has totally been on the up and up with me. Everyone around should know by now that Cobb is slow. In the last 4 years I have seen dozens of these threads complaining about how long Cobb takes. But they must be doing something right because they continue to have multi-month back orders on engine builds and heads. If you are not willing to wait, absolutely speak with your buy dollars and give someone else you business, but don't play the dumb victim...
