Default Anyone know a cheap place for windshield repair in Houston?

Coming home from the bar tonight, picked up a nice little chip in the windshield. I'd like to fix it before it spreads. Is there a place that can do a good job repairing it, or do I have to buy another windshield?

You ever clear your headlights Chuck? I've been busy lately, but I'm still up for it (if you haven't yet done it).

If anyone has a chip in their windshield, I wholeheartedly recommend Ace. The guy was here early, and did a good, cheap job. Plus, a lifetime warranty.

The downpipe install went well, especially for doing it all by myself. I'm all thumbs, but I got it in just fine. Wow, does the car pull a lot harder now.

I'm sure there would be if it were colder out. Right now, I haven't seen any. And I did wind it out in fifth and sixth last night. I'm still gonna have my wastegate ported, probably next weekend. Better safe than sorry.

Right on. You gonna do it yourself or take it to a machine shop?

I'm gonna have a machine shop do it. This is just a little beyond my capabilities as a poor-to-mediocre mechanic.
