Impreza GC8 stupid stems....

Okay, once againe time to call on the immence wealth of knowledge that this forum presents!

When I bought my car it already had aftermarket tire valve stem covers (GOD that's a mouthful). I can't, for the life of me get them off. I'm twisting hard enough that the stem itself starts moving. I know I could use 2 wrenches and twist in opposite directions, but should I? Will it wreck anything? Is there a "secret" way to get those off? HELP!

Maybe you need to heat the valve cap up a bit in order to melt/soften the plastic under the value cap.

As I know most of the after market valve caps are of poor quality rubber under the cap so after a period of time, it will melt and stick to the valve stem's pin

I have an experience like you but not exactly the same.
I get the valve cap off easily but I realize that all the rubbers under the valve cap are gone -- instead, they are all around the valve stem's pin. I need to use a little time to remove all those crap rubber off.

He's the one with the nicest choice of window tinting: a little in the front, a lot at the back.

And driving low profile rubber in the middle of winter... I don't know how he does it...

Is it just as bad that I drove all winter on summer tires? I guess that would explain the fishtailing
