Question Amsoil MY2000 filter install

Just got the Amsoil filter and took the filter box apart... then found nothing to tell me which way in it goes..... I ended up putting the foam side to the back of the box and the mesh side towards the throttle body. Can someone please confirm that this is correct. Thanks.

I would think so... so the mesh would keep the foam from being sucked into the engine. The other way around and it'd suck it in if it wasn't secured.
