The exact measurements of the ESX TMIC is:

Length: 18.5"

Width: 10"

Depth: 4.5"

Also it will clear the round strut tower bars but will not clear the oval ones. It will work with the stock splittler with minimal modification but it is suggested to upgrade to one of the larger aftermarket splitters available.

I don't believe we have any pressure drop numbers though I can see if we have any dyno runs with the stock turbo and the IC or IC/mild mods.

6.5" x 4"x 18.5" is the acutal core measurement . It is the same surface area as the Stock STi TMIC but a thicker more efficient core.

Almost forgot. The zerosports is a nice piece but you pay a premium for it. There are some others that work well that are cheaper you'll just have to look around.

Yes it's a spearco core and can be used with minimal if not no modifications to the stock air splitter for STi/WRX's.

The APS/others are larger but also is not as easy to fit due to it's size and also needs to have an aftermarket splitter to get airflow to the entire core area. Keep in mind not always is larger better.

I pulled this pic off of ESX's website for confirmation of the 'round type' strut bar fitting with the ESX TMIC. Not sure if this is the JDM or the JDM Replica aluminum STi front strut bar. This is on an STi.

Was the stock splitter modified on this STi????

you said the ESX TMIC core is 18.5 x 6.5 x 4
the HYPERFLOW V2 TMIC core is 19.4 x 7.4 x 4.6

so the HYPERFLOW is a bigger intercooler correct?

other then being smaller...whats the difference between ESX and HYPERFLOW V2
