Post spark plug indexing

just wondering if anybody has tried to get a couple free Hp from indexing their sparks plugs in a suby?..i think i read somewhere that in a 4cyc they are suppose to point to the exhaust side of the cyclinder...

i just bought a set of copper NGK for my car and wanted to know if its worth my time.

I have indexed the plugs on the last 2 vehicles I owned. I haven't tried it on the Subie yet because I'm not sure which direction the electrode should point for the most HP on a "boxster" style engine!

It doesn't matter which way the electrode points, you have a hemispherical combustion chamber.
