Question Your favorite place to buy mobile audio

I've been trolling around for info before I upgrade the OEM H/U and speakers. One thing that I haven't seen much of is where people prefer to buy their gear.

Well? What's your favorite way to get car audio?

Crutchfield for a lot of stuff...their prices aren't always the best, but usually if you order a couple things, its a lot better, that combined with all the extras you get usually make it worth it, along with warranties, etc.

I have ordered through both of the places below and was very happy with everything...

PS Oh ya, of course I have ordered through Crutchfield as well and always have been happy. I just don't feel that the extra cost is worth it compared to other online retailers. That being said, not all online retailers are 'authorized' meaning the manufacturer may not cover the products under warranty. That is definately worth consideration.

crutchfield, even though it costs more. I get the stuff the next day for standard shipping, and their customer service is great.

I've heard too many horror stories from people who bought stuff from non-approved dealers who were stuck with parts they couldn't warranty.

Eggroll has the right idea. I've shopped all of those methods. Online stores, ebay, sounddomain forum, elitecaraudio.com forum, are all the best expirences i have had. Just remember two thing with buying from a independant party, you usually get what you pay for and always ask for pictures.
